Your Host -- Ken Powers
 

Ken has worked at Blackstone National Golf Club for five years, having immersed himself in all facets of the golf course, from checking golfers in in the pro shop to greeting customers heading to the first tee and coming off the 18th green. Ken can also be found helping Blackstone's bag valets take carts out in the morning and put them away in the afternoon. he has also been known to go out on to the course and refill the water stops and handle any other situations that arise in the course of the day on one of New England's premier championship golf courses.

Prior to coing to Blackstone Ken was a sports reporter for more than 20 years at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, covering everything from high school football to PGA Tour golf, having reported on the Greater Hartford Open as well as the PGA's annual stop in Sutton for many years.

Ken has also dabbled in radio from time to time, having been a regular on WEEI in Boston from 2000-2005, and he was a mainstay of a sports radio talk show on WWTM-Radio, the predecessor to WEEI for five years with local well-known radio personalities Gary Tanguay and Greg Dickerson.
